webinar:
from theory to practice
Do you want to know what’s happening in recent interpreting or translation research and how it might apply to your everyday work? Maybe you don’t have time to read academic articles or books, or you find it difficult to do that on your own.
Our very popular From Theory to Practice workshops and webinars are for interpreters who want to improve their practice by applying some research findings from those who are studying interpreting.
There is now increasing research being conducted regarding interpreting process and practice. This research aims to inform the practice of working professionals, but many working interpreters do not regularly access current interpreting research, and therefore do not benefit from resources available to them. These webinars aim to offer practical application from some recent interpreting research in a form that is understandable and beneficial for all students and interpreters.
The material in each webinar is different from our previous From Theory to Practice workshops and webinars, so participants can benefit from attending whether or not they were able to come before.
